"let the grass grow green, beneath my toes,
and if the sun comes up, i'll paint a picture all about the colors i've been dreaming"

this quote always inspires me to go outside and see the world as it's meant to be seen. then i feel refreshed and ready to create art that is inspired by the creativity of my heavenly father. . . the one who created the grass, trees, and sun....

Michael: charcoal drawing

I finally found this charcoal piece that I did last year as my final for Figure Drawing Spring Semester last year.

self portrait/ masterpiece copy

For this photoshop project our goal was to change a famous masterpiece (i did Gustav Klimt's Lady with Fan) and put ourselves in it (i inserted my eyes, nose, lips.. the hair color and eye brows) but blend it in such a way that it still look close to the original. We were also supposed to add in other elements to change the masterpiece. I drew a border and scanned it in, changed her dress slightly and added in a few other details. This project was one of them most frustrating projects by far this semester.

Surreal Landscape

This is project was in photoshop. The goal was to create a surreal place in which you would want to visit, using photographs and 3 scanned in images. The flowers, sky and sun were drawings of mine that i decided to scan in. This was one of my favorite projects i have done in my digital tools class this semester.
